  • Confirm extinguishing system is armed and ready
  • Manual actuators are unobstructed

  • The maintenance tag or certificate is in place
  • No apparent physical damage
  • If provided, pressure gauges are in an operable range
  • If provided, nozzle blow-off caps are in place, intact and undamaged
  • Verify kitchen portable fire extinguishers have clear, unrestricted access
Scheduled service intervals:
  • Semi-Annual Inspections and Maintenance, including new links, protective caps on nozzle(s), and obstruction checks
  • Six (6) year check for caking
  • Hydrostatically test every twelve (12) years
